Purpose
Job App is a private personal automation tool used solely by its owner for job searching, application tracking, and job-related email management. It is not offered as a public service.
Google user data
With the owner's authorization, Job App may access Gmail data needed to identify and organize job-search correspondence, including application confirmations, recruiter messages, interview requests, assessments, offers, rejections, and related updates.
How data is used
- Classify and surface job-related email.
- Associate relevant messages with the owner's job applications.
- Alert the owner to interview, recruiter, assessment, offer, and follow-up messages.
- Prepare reply drafts when the owner explicitly requests them.
Storage and sharing
Job App is self-hosted. Authentication tokens and job-search data are stored privately for the owner's use. Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with unrelated third parties.
Retention and control
The owner controls the connected Google account and may revoke access through Google Account permissions or remove the local authorization at any time.
